Dear Friends:
On Saturday. May 5, Global Kids, the organization I work for, will hold its third annual 5K Scholarship Walk in Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn from 11 - 12:30 PM.
This walk will raise money for scholarships for Global Kids Leaders
who will attend college this fall. Many of our students are unable
to afford higher education and these scholarships will help ensure
that they get the assistance they need. Whether it's because of
family issues, undocumented status, or the outrageous cost for a
college education, these students, who are deserving, and hard working sometimes feel as if higher education is not accessible to them.
HELP ME MAKE THEIR DREAM FOR A COLLEGE EDUCATION A REALITY.

Last year, GK gave away three $2000 scholarships. We are hoping to
give away more scholarships in larger amounts this year.
